Bentley Odom is now in her first season on the sidelines at West Texas A&M, coming to Canyon following two seasons as a graduate assistant at national powerhouse West Florida where the Argonauts went 65-8 during that span with a pair of trips to the NCAA Division II South Regional Tournament.

The Mobile, Alabama native registered a standout collegiate career at Troy, Pensacola State College and Spring Hill College.

While with the Pirates at Pensacola State, Odom was a Second Team All-Conference selection within the Panhandle Conference and was a member of the NJCAA All-Academic Team. This success followed Odom to Spring Hill where she was named a member of the SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team both seasons with the Badgers as well as a First Team All-SIAC selection during her senior campaign.

Odom graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile where she was a member of the 2015 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Phenom List while also being named the runner-up for the Mobile County Coaches Association 2015 Female Athlete of the Year award.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Spring Hill College and a master's in Physical Education and Sport Performance from West Florida.
