Biography

2012: Davis saw limited time on the court for the Lady Buffs during her junior season due to an injury. She saw time in the opening week of the season and made an impressive return for the final week of the season including the Lone Star Conference Tournament which the Lady Buffs won. Davis registered 77 kills in 28 sets to average 2.75 per set.

2011: Davis became one of the top offensive forces in the Lone Star Conference as a sophomore in 2011, registering a team high 454 kills with an average of 3.60 per set. Davis also proved to be a great defensive player, tallying 111 digs and 47 total blocks. For her efforts on the court, Davis was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Lone Star Conference while also picking up AVCA All-South Central Region and Daktronics Second Team All-Region honors as well as being named a 3rd Team AVCA All-American.

2010: Davis had a standout freshman campaign for the Lady Buffs as she finished tied for second on the team with 302 kills and averaging 2.58 kills per set, which ranked second-most on the team. She had four matches where she recorded 15 or more kills and set a career-high with 19 kills against Angelo State in the LSC Championship title match on Nov. 13, 2010. Davis posted 117 digs on the season and assisted on 17 blocks for the season. A two-time LSC Offensive Player of the Week in 2010, Davis closed out the regular-season with a selection to the all-LSC Honorable Mention team.

High School: Davis, a talented local product, graduated from Randall (Texas) High School in 2009 and played in the middle under head coach Jason Culpepper. As a senior, she helped lead the Lady Raiders to the Texas 4A State Championship, the first in school history. She was the 2009 District 3-4A Player of the Year and was selected to the All-State team in both her junior and senior seasons. Davis also excelled in the classroom, as an academic All-State selection and a superintendent scholar at Randall.
