2021 Outdoor: Second Team All-American. Finished 12
th in the 10,000-meters at the NCAA DII Championships with the 3
rd fastest time in program history, 34:57.57. First Team All-Lone Star Conference. Finished 2
nd in the 5,000-meters and 10,000m at the LSC Championships. Ran a PR of 16:39.00 in the 5,000m at the Texas Relays. Also finished 2
nd at the 10,000m at the Flames Invitational in a time of 35:32.91. USTFCCCA All-Region (10,000m).
Texas Tech: Spent two years in Lubbock, earning All-Big 12 honors in the spring of 2019 after finishing sixth in the 10,000-meters in a collegiate best 35:13.08. Also finished sixth in the 5,000-meters at the 2020 indoor championships in 16:47.86. Also ran a collegiate best 9:52.70 over 3,000-meters.
South Plains College: 2018 NJCAA 5,000-meter National Champion. Holds the school record in the indoor 5,000-meters and 4x800-meters.
Tascosa High School: Graduated in 2016. Member of distance medley relay school record team. Was also a state qualifier in cross country.
Personal: Born on November 28, 1997. Daughter of Yasir Dala and Najat Angalo. Has four siblings. Plans on majoring in educational leadership.
