2024 Outdoor: Competed at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 4x400m with a time of 3:43.85. Also competed at the Lone Star Track and Field Championships in the 800m with times of 2:14.06 (2nd place) and 2:14.85 (1st place); and in the 4x400m with a time of 3:53.74 (7th place). Recorded a new personal best at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout in the 800m with a time of 2:11.24 and a 2nd place finish. Received Second-Team All-Conference honors for the 2024 outdoor season.

2024 Indoor: Competed in the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championship in the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 11:30.70 and a 10th place finish. Also competed in the Lone Star Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 800m races with times of 2:12.44 (1st place). Ran an 11:24.45 in the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 11:24.45 at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Received USTFCCCA All-Region and Second-Team All-American honors

2023 Cross Country: Ran a personal best 6k at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships with a time of 22:13.7. Came in 58th at the NCAA Division II South Central Region Championships with a time of 22:34.7. Competed in the LSC Championships and came in 11th with a time of 22:32.7, earning a spot on the All-Conference team.

2023 Outdoor: Recorded a personal best 800m time with 2:11.82 at the WT Last Chance Meet. Also recorded a personal best time in the 400m (58.85) at the Jo Meaker Classic and Multi and in the 1500m (4:43.36) at the TTU Masked Rider. Finished second in the 800m (2:12.42) and 11th in the 1500m (4:56.34) at the LSC Championships, earning 2nd-Team All-LSC honors. 

2023 Indoor: Ran a personal best Mile at the TTU Jarvis Scott Open with a time of 5:12.87. Finished second in the DMR (12:13.60) and first in the 800m (2:15.38) at the LSC Championships, earning 1st-Team All-LSC honors. 

2022 Cross Country: Finished 7th at the LSC Championship in the 6k with a personal best time of 22:29.3. Finished 151^st at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship. Finished 59^th at the NCAA Division II South Central Region Cross Country Championship. Finished 19^th at the Big Country XC Festival with a personal best time of 15:21.9 in the 4k. Finished 4^th in the 5k at the NMJC Cross Country Invitational II. 

2022 Outdoor: Finished 1st in the 800-meter preliminaries at the LSC Championship. Finished 5th in the 1,500-meter with a season best time of 4:48.13 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational. Finished 2nd in the 800-meter with a personal best time of 2:14.63 at the WT Last Chance Meet.

2022 Indoor: Finished 2nd in the DMR at the LSC Championships.

2021 Cross Country: Finished 18th at the LSC Cross Country Championship with a personal best time of 23:29.7 in the 6k. Finished 11th at the Texas Tech Open. Ran a personal best time of 18:03.4 in the 5k at the Missouri Southern Stampede.

2021 Outdoor: Finished 6^th in the 800-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships after running 2:22.29 in the final. Ran the fastest time in the prelims, 2:15.57. Finished 3^rd in the 800m at the Flames Invitational with a PR of 2:15.35. Ran a 4:44.20 1,500-meter to finish 9^th at the Bobcat Invitational. Also ran 12:03.89 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the WT Spring Break Classic. 

2021 Indoor: Second Team All-American. Ran a leg on the distance medley relay that finished 9^th at the NCAA DII Championships with the fastest time in program history, 11:56.39. First Team All-Lone Star Conference. LSC 800-meter Champion after running 2:21.84 in the final. Also finished 6^th in the mile running 5:23.55. Ran a leg on the DMR that won in 12:26.37. Won the 800m at the Corky Classic in a time of 2:26.82. 

2020 Cross Country: Finished 47^th at the D2 XC National Invite covering the 6,000-meter course in 24:27.2. 

Valencia High School:  Chavez was a four-sport athlete competing in cross country, track and field, basketball and soccer. She ran under Jaguars coaches James Perez and John Claston as a distance and mid-distance runner. Received All-State recognition her senior season. Was a two-time District Class 4A Cross Country Champion. Was a Track & Field District Champion her junior season placing first in the 800m, 200m, 400m and mile.

Personal:  Born Oct. 29, 2001. Daughter of Charlyn and Carlos Chavez. Sister to Brandon. Plans to study physical therapy at WT.
