2014: King scored in both the 55m hurdles (third) and 55m dash (seventh) in the LSC Indoor Championship to lead the Lady Buffs to their first LSC title in program history. Led the 4x100m relay team to a conference title and scored in the 100m (eighth) at the LSC Outdoor Championship. Qualified for the NCAA Outdoor National Championship where she finished ninth with the 4x100m relay team and 21st in the 100mH. She was named USTFCCCA All-Region during both indoor (60mH) and outdoor (4x1 & 100mH) competition and to the LSC Fall & Spriing Commissioner's Honor Roll. In 2014, King set new PRs in the 55m (7.31), 200m (26.77), 55mH (8.17) and 100mH (14.02).

2013: Medical redshirt season.

2012: King set multiple PRs for herself as a junior during the indoor season including the 55m (7.35), 60m (8.01), 55m hurdles (8.18), and 60m hurdles (8.74) events. Finished second in the LSC finals of the 55m hurdles. During outdoor, set personal bests in the 100m (12.24) and 100m hurdles (14.16). Totaled 17 top-five finishes during the season across the 100m, 100m hurdles and 4x1 relay events. Qualified for the NCAA National Championships in the 4x1 relay where she helped the team to sixth-place in the finals (46.32).

2011: In Rachel's second season with the Lady Buffs she competed in the 100m and the 100m hurdles. At the Lonestar Conference Championships she placed 4th in both the 100m and 100m hurdles. She also contributed to the 3rd place finish of the 4x100m relay. Rachel's season best in the 100m was a time of 12.02  and her season best for the 100m hurdles was a time of 14.26 at the Texas Tech Open.

2010: Rachel competed in six meets for the Lady Buffs, competing in the 100m, 100m Hurdles, and the 4x100m. King posted her best time in the 100m at the LSC meet with a time of 11.82s; in the 100m Hurdles at the LSC 14.42s; in the 4x100m a team leading mark of 47.85 at the LSC meet.

High School: Rachel attended Wichita Falls HS where she ran for Coach Deborah McNeese.  Competing in the hurdles and triple jump for the Coyotes. Was the 4A District 5 champion her senior year. She was a three time regional finalist. Was also a member of the Coyotes Basketball, Volleyball, and Cheerleading team.

Personal: Daughter of Lester and Pansy King. Has two siblings, Whitney and William. Rachel is an Advertising and Public Relations major at West Texas A&M.
