2016 (Senior)
Indoor: She anchored the 4x400 meter relay that won the LSC Indoor Championship title in a time of 3:49.05. That was the second-fastest mile relay in school history. Ran a seasonal best time of 58.76 in the 400 meters in the preliminary rounds of the same meet. Ran a personal best time of 7.94 in the 60 meters at the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash.
Outdoor: Finished fifth in the 400-meters and third in the 4x400-meter relay at the Lone Star Conference Championships. She ran the third-fastest 400 time in school history at the Ross Black Open crossing the line in 56.44. Was part of the 4x400 that provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships running 3:45.48 at the LSC meet. She also earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors as part of the 4x400.

2014: Thomas placed fourth in the 400m and led the 4x400m relay team to a conference title at the LSC Indoor Championship, helping the Lady Buffs to their first LSC title in program history. She qualified with the 4x4 team for the NCAA Indoor National Championship where they placed 10th in the country. Thomas repeated as LSC champion at the LSC Outdoor Championship with the 4x4 team and scored in the 400m as well (fifth). She was named LSC All-Conference and USTFCCCA All-Region during both indoor and outdoor seasons as well as member of the LSC Fall & Spring Commissioner's Honor Rolls. She set PRs in the 100m (12.27) and 400m (56.62) events in 2014.
2013: Had four top-five finishes as a sophomore during the indoor season, including a fifth-place showing in the 400m at the LSC Indoor Championships. Seven top-five finishes in the outdoor season where she helped lead the Lady Buffs to a second-place finish in the LSC Outdoor Championships. Qualified for the NCAA National Championships with the 4x1 and 4x4 relay teams, both earning top-10 finishes in the nation. Her personal bests included 25.27 (200m), 56.67 (400m) and 2.57m (pole vault).
2012: In her first season as a Lady Buff, Jessie competed in the 400m and was a member of the 4x400m relay. At the LSC Championship meet she placed eighth in the 400m with a time of 1:01.88. As a member of the 4x400m relay she contributed to the third place finish with a time of 3:47.59. She ran her season best of 57.06 in the 400m in the prelims of the LSC Championships.
High School: Jessie attended Anna High School where she competed in the Pole Vault, Triple Jump, High Jump, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m, 1 mile, 2 mile, 800m, 400m, and 200m. She is a 400m regional champion and 2 time state qualifier plcing 6th with her team in the 4x200m and 3rd in the 400m. She also played Basketball, Softball, Volleyball, Soccer, and ran Cross Country. Jessie graduated in the top 10 percent of her class.
Personal: Daughter of Paul and Jan Thomas, she has 6 siblings Eric, Shannon, Shawn, Thomas, Paul, and Jamie.
