2017 Outdoor: Head will finish her career with the top seven marks in school history in the hammer throw. She is the only Lady Buff to ever have thrown farther than 50 meters, which she did on three different occasions. Earned 3
rd Team All-Lone Star Conference after finishing third in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.07 meters (167-7). She also finished seventh in the discus with a throw of 41.95 meters (137-7). She recorded a first place finish in the hammer throw at the West Texas A&M Invitational where she broke her own school record with a throw of 51.59 meters (169-3). She also won the hammer at the NMJC Ross Black Track & Field Open with a mark of 47.78 meters (156-9).
2017 Indoor: Finished second in the weight throw at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a mark of 16.87 meters (55-4.25) which is the second-best mark in school history. She earned Second Team All-Conference Recognition for her runner-up performance. She also finished 12
th in the shot put with a seasonal best mark of 11.64 meters (38-2.525). She broke her own school record in the weight throw earlier in the year with a NCAA provisional mark of 16.89 meters (55-5) to pick up the win at the Grizzly/Buffalo Clash. She now owns the seven top marks in school history in that event.
2016 Outdoor: Finished third in the discus and fourth in the hammer throw at the Lone Star Conference Championships. Broke the school record in the hammer throw with a mark of 166-8 (50.80m) at the WT Classic & Multi. She became the first Lady Buff to throw over 50 meters in the hammer and owns the top three marks in school history.
2016 Indoor: Broke her own school record on her way to winning the weight throw at the LSC Indoor Championships. Her mark of 16.57 meters was nearly a meter longer than she had thrown during her career. She broke the school record a total of three times throughout the season and holds the top three times in that even in school history. She had a seasonal-best mark of 11.04 meters in the shot put at the same meet.
2015 Outdoor: Provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the discus with her mark of 147-2 (44.86m) at the Texas Tech Outdoor open. She finished fifth in the event at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & field Championships with a mark of 139-2 (42.41m). Set a personal best mark in the shot put (39-6, 12.04m) at the Ross Black Open.
2015 Indoor: Finished fourth in the weight throw at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 46-11 (14.30m). She had a seasonal best mark of 49-4.25 (15.04m) in that event at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open.
2014 Outdoor: Finished eighth in the discus at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 130-2 (39.67m). She also finished ninth in the hammer throw at the same championships.
2014 Indoor: Compete in three meets as a true freshman for the Lady Buffs where she finished 11
th in the weight throw at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships.
High School: Graduated from Groom HS in 2013. Competed in discus and shot put. Finished third in the state championship in her senior and was as state qualifier in 2012. Holds the school's record in discus (124'9"). Track & field MVP in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Fighting Heart Award in 2011 and 2013. Was the basketball team's offensive MVP in 2013 as well as a first-team all-district honoree. Also a letterwinner in cross country.
Personal: Born May 23, 1995. Daughter of Mary Head and the late Rodney Head. Has two siblings, Ruby and Thomas. Majoring in sports and exercise science at West Texas A&M.
