2021 Outdoor: First Team All-American. Finished 3
rd in the javelin at the NCAA DII Championships with the best throw in program history, 156-0 (47.56m). Third Team All-Lone Star Conference. Finished 3
rd at the LSC Championships with a toss of 147-5 (44.94m). Won the javelin at the Jo Meaker Classic & Multi and WT Spring Break Classic. USTFCCCA All-Region (Javelin).
2021 Indoor: Did not compete.
Florida International: School record holder in the javelin for the Panthers. Finished 23
rd at the NCAA Division I East Regional as a sophomore with a mark of 154-6 (47.10m). Also finished second at the Conference USA Championships with a throw of 156-7 (47.74m). Broke he FIU school record with a mark of 161-0 (49.07m) en route to winning the UCF Knights Invite. Finished 24
th at the East Regionals as a freshman.
Signal Hill Secondary School: Competed on the soccer, cricket and track & field teams. Earned the 2013 and 2016 Signal Hill Player of the Year, scoring the most goals at the prep school in 2016, additionally earning her Team MVP honors. Selected as the 2015 Signal Hill Cricketer of the Year. Signal Hill was also crowned Tobago League and Intercol Champions and she was the MVP of the U19 team in 2016... Also played for the Trinidad and Tobago Beach Soccer World Cup Team, which took gold in the Commonwealth Youth Games in Nassau, Bahamas in July of 2017.
Personal: Born on December 5, 1999. Daughter of Annette Benjamin-James and Franklyn James. Has three siblings. Plans on majoring in psychology at WT.
