Biography

2021: Started all 11 games under center for the Buffs during his junior campaign in 2021. Finished the season completing 143-of-251 passes for 2,029 yards and 14 touchdowns to go along with 71 rushing attempts for 239 yards and six scores. Threw a season-high 355 yards and three touchdowns against Western New Mexico. Rushed for a season-high 82 yards with three scores on the road at Western Oregon.  

2020: Started in all six games for the Buffs under center completing 88-of-142 passes for 1,094 yards and nine touchdowns with four interceptions. He also rushed for 140 yards on 37 carries. Completed 16-of-17 passes in the season opener against Oklahoma Panhandle State including 13 straight completions to open the game with three touchdowns. Threw for over 200 yards twice including a season-high 215 yards in the season finale against Pittsburg State. Completed 8-of-9 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns in limited action against North American. Rushed for a season-high 66 yards on six carries against the Gorillas. 

2019: Started in all 11 games behind center for the Buffs in 2019 where he led them to eight wins for the first time in six years. He completed 172-of-318 passes for 2,016 yards for 16 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for a team-high eight touchdowns on 72 attempts for 290 yards. He threw for over 200 yards in four consecutive games including a season-high 242 against Angelo State on Oct. 19. He became the first Buff since 2016 to throw for three touchdowns in WT’s 34-24 win over Midwestern State on Senior Day. He also ran for 110 yards and three scores against Texas A&M-Kingsville, making him the first quarterback to achieve that this decade. Also punted the ball three times putting two inside the 20-yard line.

Texas Tech: Redshirted in 2018 where he worked with Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
 
Tyler Junior College: Spent his freshman season in Tyler where he played in eight games completing 59.8 percent of his passes for 624 yards and two touchdowns.
 
Levelland High School: Graduated in 2017 as one of the most prolific passers in Texas where he broke the state record with 5,617 passing yards and 77 touchdowns as a senior. He was also named the Class 4A Built Ford Tough Texas High School Player of the Year.
