Biography

2010:  James was named the LSC  Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

2009:  James served as defensive back for the Lady Buffs drawing 22 appearances and 21 starts during the season. 

2008: In her 20 games played, James scored one goal and lent one assist, giving her three points, while registering a shooting percentage of .200.

Previous School: James attended Cumberland in Lebanon, Tenn., where she was recognized as a second team all-Conference performer.

High School: James graduated from Malick Secondary Comprehensive in 2003. She played defense, midfield and forward and was named Defender of the Year and Player of the year in addition to be named to the all-star team.

Personal: She is the daughter of Winston and Irma James and is majoring in physical therapy. James has five siblings: Hayden (34), Sonia (33), Nicole (30), Angelo (29) and Alex (16).  She is a Sports and Exercise Science major at West Texas A&M.
