2010: Started in 11 of the 16 matches she played in as a sophomore for the lady Buffs, scoring three goals on 14 shots this past season. She had one assist on the year as well totaling seven points for the season. She had one game-winning goal in 2010.

2009:  In her rookie debut, Carnero scored three goals and lent one assists for a total of seven points.  With 20 appearances, Carnero took 17 of 27 shots on goal for a shot on goal percentage of .630.  One of Carnero’s goals came in the 4^th minute when she was able to slip a shot deflected off the goalie into the left corner of the goal on Oct. 10 against Texas A&M Commerce.  She scored the lone goal with a header in the 1-0 victory over Midwestern State Nov. 6 to advance to the LSC Championship match. 

High School: Carnero graduated from Amarillo (Texas) Caprock HS, having made First Team All-District all four years. Carnero also lettered in track & field for four years. In 2007, she made district MVP, and in February of 2009, Carnero was named Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Player of the Month.

Personal: Carnero is the daughter of Luz and Socorro Carnero and has two siblings: Rocio and Ivan.  She is a Social Work major at West Texas A&M.
