Biography
2011: Earned first team all-conference honors in her first season in a Buffalo uniform after a year off from soccer. Led team in scoring, goals and assists. Tallied a team-high 11 goals with four assists for 26 points. Had a team-high 78 shots and 39 were on goal (.500 SOG%). Had four game winners. Tallied two games with two goals. Logged 1597 minutes.
Southern Methodist (2009): Scored four goals on the season. Led SMU in shots with 55 and 24 on goal. Scored in three straight games, 9/11 at Saint Mary's, 9/13 at then No. 16 California and 9/18 at UTSA. Also scored 10/25 against Southern Miss. Assisted against East Carolina (10/11) and Tulsa (10/29). Played 1391 minutes, including four games that she played all 90 minutes (9/4 vs. North Texas, 9/11 vs. Saint Mary's, 9/20 vs. Portland, 10/9 vs. Marshall).
North Carolina (2007-2008): Played 318 minutes in 20 matches for the National Champion Tar Heels as a sophomore and played 17 minutes in the national championship game. Played 20 minutes in the College Cup semifinal. Took seven shots. Saw her only action of the year as a reserve forward in the 4-1 over North Carolina?State as a freshman.
High School: An outstanding soccer and basketball player at Parish Episcopal. Played two years of high school soccer from 2003-05 as a midfielder and forward. Played basketball for two years from 2005-07 as a wing player. 4A Tapps selection. Member of a district championship team. Member of National Honor Society. Also had membership in Mu Alpha Theta and was secretary of that organization. Played for the Dallas Texas 88 Red North Soccer Club.
Personal: Is the daughter of Emma Lou Briggs and Michael Wayne Briggs. Born in Amarillo, Texas. Has one older brother, Brent. Is in graduate school at West Texas A&M.
