Biography

Career: 3-Time 1st Team All-Lone Star Conference award winner as she has started in 49 games logging 4,103 minute during her career. Has scored four goals and one assist for a total of nine points. Scored two game-winners during her sophomore season in 2016.
 
2018: 2nd Team USC All-South Central. 1st Team D2CCA All-South Central. 1st Team All-Lone Star Conference. Lone Star Conference All-Tournament Team. Started in 17 games for the Lady Buffs logging 1,356 minutes while scoring one goal on six shots. Her lone goal of the season came WT’s 1-1 draw against UC-Colorado Springs in the NCAA Regional Semifinal. Anchored the backline that held opposing offenses to 0.86 goals per game while recording a total of nine shutouts.

2017: Played in one game before an injury sidelined her the rest of the season.

2016: Earned All-LSC First Team honors for the second straight season after starting in 14 matches and logging 1,259 for the Lady Buffs. She scored two goals, which were both game-winners against UT Permian Basin and nationally-ranked Texas A&M-Commerce, and two assists on eight shots. She was part of a backline that produced four shutouts while she played the full 90 minutes in all but one match this season for WT.

2015: Debesette was named to the Division II Coaches Commissioners Association South Central All-Region second-team, LSC First-Team All-Conference and All-Tournament teams after an impressive freshmen season. Saw action in 17 matches with 17 starts while logging 1,474 minutes. Scored her lone goal of the season in a 2-0 victory against Lubbock Christian on Oct. 28. Was part of the backline that produced seven shutouts.

High School: Graduated from Vessigny Secondary in 2013 where she played in the midfield and forward under Kenneth Preddie and Travis Joseph.

Personal: Born on June 1, 1995. Daughter of Janice Augustus and Wilfred Debesette. Has two sisters, Kelsha and Khadidra. Majoring in physical education at West Texas A&M. Her sister, Khadidra is a member of the WT women's soccer team.
