Biography

Career: Finished her career with 75 games played including 69 starts where she logged the second-most minutes, 6,290, in program history. She scored 16 goals and five assists for a total of 37 points. Here 136 shots are the sixth-most in program history with 76 of those being on-target. She scored seven game-winners which is the fifth-most by a Lady Buff. Earned Lone Star conference honors four times (3x 1stTeam, 1x 2ndTeam). 
 
2018:1stTeam All-Lone Star Conference. Appeared in all 22 games including 20 starts logging 1,817 minutes out of the midfield. Scored her only goal of the season in a double overtime win over MSU Texas. Also recorded an assists against Texas Woman’s on Sept. 21. Recorded a season-high seven shots at Texas A&M-Commerce on Oct. 19 in a game played in Rockwall, Texas. Played in all but 14 minutes of WT’s run to the NCAA Quarterfinal while making the winning penalty kick in WT’s shootout against UC-Colorado Springs. 

2017: Played in 18 matches with 16 starts...Logged 1,541 minutes...Scored one goal with one assist for three points...Had 24 shots with 14 on frame...Earned second team all-conference honors and was named to the LSC Championship All-Tournament Team...Scored her goal in the semifinal matchup of the LSC  Tournament against Texas A&M-Commerce (11/3)...Played 110 minutes three times and played 90 or more minutes 14 times.

2016: Earned All-LSC First Team honors after starting in all 17 matches for the Lady Buffs in 2016. She finished second on the team in goals (6), points (13) and minutes played (1,401). Her three game-winning goals were the most on the team on 33 shots and 19 of those being on-target for a .576 shot on goal percentage. She recorded a season-high six shots against Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 26.

2015: Debesette was named to the Division II Coaches Commissioners Association South Central All-Region second-team after starting 18 matches for the Lady Buffs while logging 1,531 minutes. She scored a team-high eight goals and 18 points, including a school record four against Texas A&M-International on Sept. 28. Finished the season with 41 shots, 23 on goal for .561 SOG%. She was named Lone Star Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 30 for her performance against TAMUI.

High School: Graduated from Vessigny Secondary in 2013 where she played in the defense and midfield under Kenneth Preddie and Travis Joseph.

Personal: Born on June 1, 1995. Daughter of Janice Augustus and Wilfred Debesette. Has two sisters, Kelsha and Khadisha. Majoring in physical education at West Texas A&M. Her sister, Khadisha is a member of the WT women's soccer team.
