2020: Started in four games for the Buffs scoring a total of four touchdowns. Ran the ball 17 times for 51 yards and team-high three touchdowns. Also recorded two receptions for 16 yards and a score. Rushed for a season-high 43 yards and two touchdowns in WT’s win over Angelo State on Oct. 24. Also rushed for a touchdown in the season finale against Pittsburg State. 

2019: Johnson did it all for the Buffs in 2019 where he ranked in the Top 5 in rushing and receiving yards. On the ground, he carried the ball 77 time for 284 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns. He rushed for a season-high 92 yards on 15 carries in the Buffs senior day victory over Midwestern State. He also recorded 21 receptions for 229 yards and three touchdowns including a season-high 47 yards and a touchdown against UT Permian Basin. He also threw for a touchdown pass to senior Brock Gerlich against nationally-ranked Tarleton. 

2018: Appeared in 8 games at fullback where he recorded 31 rushing yards on 4 carries along with 14 receptions for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns. Was instrumental in helping WT defeat nationally-ranked Central Washington on the road with 3 catches for 36 yards and a touchdown in his second game back from injury. He followed that up with a 4 catch, 70-yard performance against UT Permian Basin where he caught his second TD of the season. He finished the season with a season-high 23 yards rushing against MSU Texas with three catches and 24 yards receiving.

2017: 1st Team All-Lone Star Conference. Played and started all 11 games at fullback. Finished second on the team in rushing yards with 157 yards on 36 carries and three touchdowns. Led the team in receiving yards with 267 on 19 catches and one score. Had one punt return for 16 yards. Had a season-high 66 yards rushing in the upset win over Colorado State-Pueblo (9/9) on 12 carries with one touchdown and a long rush of 28 yards. Caught four balls for 78 yards at Tarleton State (9/23). Had multiple receptions in six games last season. Named first team all-conference.

2016: Didn't see any action.

2015: Redshirted.

Rice High School: Played at Rice Consolidated High School for head coach Gary Zinert.  Passed for 25 TD's, 1,933 yards and completed 114 passes.  Racked up 4,790 yards.  Finished his senior year with a rating of 109.4 helping his team reach the second round of the playoffs.  Named MVP as a senior.

Personal: Born Mar. 25, 1996.  Parents are Oliver and Angie Johnson.  Has two siblings.  Has not decided on a major at WT.
