Daniela Estrada joined the Lady Buffs as a Graduate Assistant in August 2025.
She returns to West Texas A&M as a GA after a successful collegiate career as a goalkeeper for the Lady Buffs. Daniela played three seasons with the team from 2019 to 2021, logging over 2,000 minutes in goal across 29 matches. During her time on the field, she was recognized as the LSC Newcomer of the Year in 2019 and earned LSC Goalkeeper of the Week honors.
Before transferring to WT, Daniela played at Georgia Southern University, a Division I program, from 2016 to 2019. In addition to her collegiate career, she gained valuable coaching experience by assisting both field players and goalkeepers at youth soccer camps in Texas and Colombia, working with children ages 8 to 18.
Originally from Colombia, Daniela represented her country at the international level as a member of the Colombia U20 National Team. She also played for the Bogotá Regional U20 Team and was part of the Gol Star Elite Team prior to beginning her career in the United States.
Daniela graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2021 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration Marketing and Management. As an honors student, she achieved placement on the Dean’s Honor Roll. After spending five years in the U.S., she returned to Colombia to join the sales team of an engineering company. Currently, she is pursuing her Master's in Business Administration while contributing to the Lady Buffs program as a Graduate Assistant.
In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends, enjoying family time, playing sports, watching shows, and traveling.
