At Pepperdine:
The Frisco, Texas native come to Canyon following two years at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. The talented right-hander saw time in 13 contests out of the bullpen for the Waves during his junior campaign in 2017, tossing 21.2 innings with 17 strikeouts and 11 walks as he picked up his first career win in relief against Cal Poly. Gehle also excelled in the classroom during his time in Malibu, being named a Pepperdine Scholar Athlete and earning West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades.
 
At Grayson Community College:
Gehle began his collegiate career at Grayson Community College in Denison, Texas where he went 5-2 during his sophomore campaign with a 4.76 ERA in 62.1 innings pitched with 50 strikeouts and 20 walks.

At Frisco Wakeland High School:
He registered a stellar prep career at Frisco Wakeland High School where he went 18-4 with a 1.97 ERA in 124.1 innings pitched to pick up All-District First Team honors as a junior and senior.

Personal:
Born October 30, 1995. Son of Albert and Margie Gehle and he has one sister, Brittany who is a former Lady Buff Softball standout. Majoring in Economics and Finance at West Texas A&M.
