Biography
Amarillo High School: Escobedo was one fo the been top players in the State of Texas during her prep career competing at the 5A State Championships three times, including a ninth-place finish as a freshman. She also won the 2019 and 2021 Texas-Oklahoma Junior Golf Tournament. She is a 4 time Champion at the Jim Hitch Memorial Tournament. In 2020 Alexis finished fifth at the AJGA Gateway First Bank Tulsa and won the AJGA Bob Estes Preview before finishing ninth in the tournament.
Coach Jameson’s Take: I love to have local talent on the team, but girl’s golf in the Texas Panhandle is often not at the level needed to compete on the collegiate national stage. Alexis is the best golfer to come out of this region since 2015 and one of the best ever. She loves to compete and is eager to hone her skills and learn how to compete even better than she already does.
