Freshman (2015/16)
Cross Country: As a freshman, she participated in three meets for the Lady Buffs. Her best finish came at the LSC Championships (6k) where she placed 49
th in a personal-best time of 28:33.1. She ran a personal-best time of 25:16.0 in the 5k at the NMJC Cross Country Open.
High School: Graduated from Holy Cross Catholic Academy in 2015 where she ran cross country and track & field for the Mustangs under head coach Matthew Rosas. She was a state qualifier in both cross country and track & field. Salgado was named Foreign Language Student of the Year in 2014 and Fine Arts Student of the Year in 2013. She also lettered four years in volleyball and basketball.
Personal: Hometown is Amarillo, Texas. Daughter of Vicente and Ramona Salgado. Majoring in mass communications at West Texas A&M.
