2020:
Patterson saw time in 20 contests with 14 starts for the Buffaloes during the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign. The Canyon product hit .264 on the season with three doubles, a triple and two homeruns to drive in four RBI for a slugging percentage of .472. Patterson drew 10 walks and two hit-by-pitches for an on-base clip of .400 to go along with 137 putouts and four assists at first base with a perfect fielding percentage.

2019:
Patterson saw time in 15 games with one start at first base for the Buffaloes during his junior season in 2019. The Canyon product hit .385 on the season with one double and three RBI to go along with four walks for an on-base percentage of .579 while registering 18 putouts and one assist for a perfect fielding percentage.

At Trinidad State Junior College:
Patterson returned to the Texas Panhandle following two seasons at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, Colorado where he plated first base for the Trojans under head coach Matthew Torrez. He was an All-Region selection for the Trojans as he hit .348 with 38 RBI and 27 runs scored on the way to an overall record of 47-12 and a Regional Championship.

At Canyon High School:
Registered a stellar prep career at nearby Canyon High School where he played first base for the Eagles under head coach John Doan. He led CHS to a Regional Semifinal appearance as a senior in 2016 with an overall record of 30-9 as he earned Second Team All-District accolades for the Eagles. Patterson also excelled in the classroom at Canyon High, serving as a member of the National Honor Society and being named a Superintendent Scholar.

Born July 17, 1997. Son of Craig and Robin Patterson and he has three siblings. Majoring in Health Sciences at West Texas A&M.
