Will Sherman enters his fifth season on the sideline for the Lady Buffs, he was named the program's Associate Head Coach in the Summer of 2024.
The 2024-25 campaign saw the Lady Buffs qualify for the program's 29th NCAA Tournament with an overall record of 19-13, advancing to the South Central Regional Semifinals in Denton, Texas.
The Lady Buffs made the program's 28th appearance in the NCAA Division II Postseason during the 2022-23 campaign as they went 21-11 overall including a 14-8 mark in Lone Star Conference action. WT finished the 20221-22 campaign with an overall record of 26-11 as WT claimed the LSC Regular Season and Tournament Titles followed by a run to the South Central Regional Championship at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.
Sherman came to Canyon following two seasons at Lone Star Conference member UT Tyler where he served as the program's top assistant and recruiting coordinator since May of 2019. He was instrumental in the Lady Patriots' transition into NCAA Division II.

Sherman joined UT Tyler after two seasons as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. While with the War Hawks, he helped guide the team to their best American Southwest Conference West Division finish in more than a decade during the 2017-18 season. In 2018-19, McMurry advanced to the ASC Tournament for the first time since 2008.

The Reno, Nevada native is a 2017 graduate of the University of Nevada-Reno, where he spent five seasons assisting the Wolf Pack Women's Basketball program in various capacities. His duties included assisting in the preparation of scouting reports and practice plans, individual and group workouts, and travel planning. Â
Sherman has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and a Master's of Science in Sports Psychology from Capella University.
