2025-26: Appeared in all 31 games for the Buffs where he compiled 19 starts...played 27.4 minutes per game...averaged 9.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.8 steals...shot 44.1% from the field, 40.0% from three, and 83.7% from the free throw line...scored 18 points on an efficient 7/11 from the field with four triples, seven rebounds, and two steals against Cameron on February 5...tallied 18 points with four made threes along with six rebounds and six made free throws against Texa Dallas on December 13...scorched a career-high five made threes to go with five rebounds against Texas A&M Kingsville on February 19...totaled eight games with 14+ points, nine games with 6+ rebounds, four games with 3+ assists, six multi-steal games, six games with 5+ field goals made, 11 games with 3+ three-pointers made, and five games with 3+ free throws made...led the team in three-pointers made with 66...named to the LSC All-Freshman Team

At Amarillo High School:
Joins the Buffs from nearby Amarillo High School (Texas)... Three year starter under head coach Jason Pillion... The Sandies went 98-16 during that time with Zach becoming the winningest varsity starter in AHS history... Brown graduated as the second leading scorer in AHS history with 1,396 points... Named to the Texas High School Super Elite Team as well as a recipient of the Texas Panhandle Sports Network Basketball Excellence Award... Brown was named the District Newcomer of the Year, District Most Valuable Player as well as a TABC All-State selection... Also excelled in the classroom as a member of the Academic All-District squad...
