2012: Yazzie saw time in 17 games with two starts for the Lady Buffs as a junior in 2012, hitting .222 with one double and one RBI on the season while scoring seven runs. She tallied a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at third base, registering four putouts and eight assists.

Previous School: Yazzie attended Eastern Arizona (Arizona) and played second base for the Gila Monsters under head coach Kate McCluskey.

High School: Yazzie graduated from Piedra Vista HS (New Mexico) in 2010, leading the Panthers to five New Mexico Class 4A State Championships. Her senior season saw the Panthers ranked #18 in the ESPN Rise/USA Today National Poll when she was an All-State selection. Yazzie was awarded the Fighting Panther Award in 2010 and she was four time All-District selection. She also excelled in the classroom, being a member of four Academic All-District teams while also lettering in soccer for three seasons.

Major: Yazzie is a Sports & Exercise Science major at West Texas A&M.

Personal: Yazzie is the daughter of Pete and Thelma Yazzie and has one sibling, Coye.
