2019 (Sophomore):
Appeared in 15 games with two starts in left field after transferring from Spoon River Community College hitting .100 with an RBI while scoring seven runs. Scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth in WT’s comeback victory over Texas Woman’s (4/18).

At Spoon River College:
Mejia comes to Canyon following one season at Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois where she caught and played the outfield for the Snappers under head coach John Bassett. She saw time in 58 games, hitting .413 with four doubles and four triples to drive in 17 RBI with 90 total bases for a slugging percentage of .476.

At Valley Vista High School:
Mejia graduated from Valley Vista High School in Surprise, Arizona in 2017 where she caught and played the outfield for the Monsoon. She was a Second Team All-Conference selection, hitting .500 with a .543 on-base percentage at VVHS. She also lettered in Track & Field while earning President's List recognition.

Personal:
Born December 28, 1998. Daughter of Ulise and Regina Mejia and she has one sibling, Tobias. Majoring in Biology at West Texas A&M.
