Made his collegiate debut in the season opener at Western Colorado (August 28)... Helped the Buffs rank third in the nation in total offense (487.1) while holding the top passing offense (357.4) in all of Division II football… WT sat 10th in the nation in sacks allowed (0.83) and 14th in tackles for loss allowed (3.92)… 

At Aledo High School:
Came to Canyon following a standout prep career at Aledo High School (Texas)... Played right tackle, defensive end the tight end for the Bearcats under head coach Robby Jones... First Team All-District honoree on the offensive line...

Personal:
Born September 20, 2006... Son of Royce and Jill Cartwright and he has two siblings, Cason and Catie... Expected to major in Wildlife Biology at West Texas A&M...
