Tyler Wilkinson recently completed her first season as a Student Assistant Coach for the Lady Buffs.

Wilkinson recently completed two great years in the outfield for the Lady Buffs after transferring to WT from the College of Southern Idaho. The Idaho Falls native saw time in 111 contests with 107 starts for the Lady Buffs over the last two seasons including a run to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championship. She proved herself as one of the top short game players in the country, hitting .339 as a Lady Buff with 14 doubles, four triples and a pair of inside-the-park homeruns to drive in 39 career RBI from the top of the lineup while stealing 46 career bases to rank fifth in school history.
 
Wilkinson was a 3rd Team All-Lone Star Conference selection in 2014 while also being named to the LSC All-Tournament Team as a junior, she also excelled in the classroom as a two-time member of the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Wilkinson came to Canyon in the fall of 2014 following an impressive two-year career at the College of Southern Idaho. She led the Golden Eagles to the Scenic West Athletic Conference Championship in 2013, hitting .345 with 49 runs scored and 26 RBI while walking 32 times and stealing 16 of 17 attempted bases. In 2012, Wilkinson hit .387 with 57 runs scored and 34 RBI while also stealing 22 bases. She was named an NJCAA 1st Team All-American following her sophomore season at CSI.
