Rebekah Ragsdale

Rebekah Ragsdale will begin her second season as a Gradute Assistant Coach for the Lady Buffs in 2015 following a standout playing career at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Ragsdale joins the WT staff following a collegiate career at UMHB in Belton, Texas where she was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Third Team All-Region selection as a senior for the Crusaders, leading the team to an overall record of 30-14.

The Orange, Texas native is the UMHB all-time career leader in victories (50) and strikeouts (308) while being named the American Southwest Conference (ASC) West Division Pitcher of the Year following her sophomore season in 2012. Ragsdale helped the Crusaders to an overall record of 85-47 during her three seasons in Belton following a one-year stint at Galveston College in 2011. 

She graduated from West Orange Stark High School in 2011, garnering All-District and Academic All-State honors while being named the District MVP twice. Ragsdale graduated from UMHB with her bachelor’s degree in Sports & Exercise Science and she will be pursuing her master’s in Sports Management at West Texas A&M.
