Biography


High School: Wurst graduated from Bonita HS (California) in 2010. She played first base and pitched for the Bearcats under head coach Ken Carlson and led the team to a 25-5-1 record as a senior. As a senior, she was named the San Gabriel Valley Player of the Year and was a California 1st Team All-State selection with a 19-4 record with a staggering 0.82 ERA to go along with 277 strikeouts. Wurst also excelled in the classroom, graduating in the top 15% of her class while being named a member of the National Honor Society of Sports Medicine, she was also a four time Bonita High School and Miramonte League Scholar Athlete.

Personal: Wurst is the daughter of Cliff and Sonia Wurst and has one sister, Aubree. She is majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at West Texas A&M.
