Biography

2009: Pearson started in 8 games during her sophomore season while seeing a collective 12 appearances in the pitcher[apos]s circle. She led the Lady Buffs in won-loss percentage of .833. She ended the season with a 5-1 won-loss record and a 3.53 earned run average over a total of 43.2 innings pitched. In her limited time in the circle, Pearson struck out 37 opponents. Pearson collected her first win of the season, 9-1, over Northwestern Oklahoma on March 16 recording two hits, one earned run and set a new career high of nine strike outs in 5.0 innings pitched.

2008: Pearson appeared in 12 games, producing a 3-3 won-loss record, with a 3.68 earned run average over 45.2 innings pitched. She started seven games, turning in five complete game efforts. She collected her first collegiate win on March 26 at Panhandle State, allowing one run in 5.1 innings pitched. Pearson turned in her best pitching performance of the season in her last appearance of the year, yielding no earned runs, while striking out a career-high eight in a victory against Texas-Permian Basin. She also made five plate appearances, colleting one hit in two official at-bats and drawing three walks.

High School: Pearson attended Bowness HS where she played both softball and field hockey. She also received the Bowness Valued Student award.

Personal: Pearson is the daughter of Gerry and Bonnie Pearson. She has one sister, Nicole. She is majoring in General Studies at WTAMU.
