2016 (Freshman):
Garza had a strong freshman campaign for the Lady Buffs in 2016 as the San Antonio native saw time in 23 contests with three starts as she hit .346 with two doubles and a homerun to drive in 13 RBI for a slugging percentage of .538 to go along with six walks for an on-base clip of .528. In the field, Garza saw time at third base as she registered six putouts and 12 assists with two errors for a fielding percentage of .900. Garza registered her first career homerun on February 12^th as she lifted a pitch over the black monster in left field with the bases loaded for a grand slam against Fort Lewis.
 
At James Madison High School:
Garza came to Canyon following a great prep career at James Madison HS (Texas) where she played on the corners for the Mavericks under the guidance of head coach Laurie Friesenhahn. She was a two-time All-District selection for the Mavericks while leading her district in batting average (.488), slugging percentage (.976) and on-base percentage (.593) as a senior.
 
Personal:
Born June 27^th. Garza is the daughter of Pablo and Ana Garza and she has two siblings, Pablo IIII and Nadia. She is majoring in Sports & Exercise Science at West Texas A&M with a minor in Business.
