Previous School:
Vasquez comes to Canyon following one season at Division III Finlandia University (Michigan) where she played shortstop for the Lions under head coach Katherine Hannagan. While in Hancock, Vasquez was a Great South Athletic Conference (GSAC) All-Conference selection as she led the Lions in batting average (.345), slugging percentage (.558), home runs (6), and RBI (21).
 
High School:
Vasquez graduated from Magnet HS (Arizona) in Tucson where she played multiple positions for the Badgers under the guidance of head coach Danielle Rodriguez. She was a three-time varsity letterwinner at MHS while leading the Badgers deep into the Arizona Division 2 Playoffs during her senior season.
 
Personal:
Born January 4^th. Vasquez is the daughter of Oscar and Edith Vasquez and she has two siblings, Jordan and Christian. She is majoring in Business/Marketing at West Texas A&M with a minor in Spanish.
