2012: Garcia became a force in the circle for the Lady Buffs late in the 2012 season, seeing time in 16 games with eight starts for an overall record of 6-2 during her junior campaign. She registered a 5.19 ERA with 29 strikeouts in her 55.1 innings of work with one save and four complete games.

Previous School: Garcia attended Pima Community College (Arizona) where she pitched for the Aztecs under head coach Armando Quiroz. She helped the Aztecs to the Conference Championship in 2010.

High School: Garcia graduated from J.M. Hanks HS (Texas) in 2009, playing first base and pitching for the Knights under head coach Shelley Prather. She led the Knights to three District 1-5A Championships.

Major: Garcia is a Biology major at West Texas A&M with a minor in Education.

Personal: Garcia is the daughter of Sergio and Veronica Garcia and she has three siblings: Jacqueline, Francine and Jessi.
