2016 (Senior)
Indoor: Finished third in the shot put and fifth in the weight throw at the LSC Indoor Championships. His mark of 16.36 meters is the seventh-best mark in school history. His mark of 16.68 meters in the shot put at the championships ranked him No. 20 in the nation. Had a seasonal-best mark of 16.70 meters in the hammer throw in winning the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash. Finishes his indoor career with the ten best marks in the weight throw and nine of the ten best in the shot put.
Outdoor: Finished second in the shot put at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a throw of 55-10.5 (17.03m). He also finished third in the discus and sixth in the hammer throw at the same meet. Provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the discus and shot put ranking 37
th and 19
th respectively. His seasonal-best mark of 56-1.25 (17.10m) at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational is the sixth-best mark in school history. He will finish his WT career as the school record holder in the shot put holding seven of the top marks in school history.
2015 (Junior)

2014: During his sophomore season, Weatherly repeated as the individual shot put champion at the LSC Indoor Championship and placed third in the weight throw, leading the team to its first LSC title in program history. He qualified for the NCAA Indoor Championship in shot put and made the finals before finishing ninth in the country. Weatherly continued to improve during the outdoor season as he scored in all three of his events at the LSC Outdoor Championship (first-HT, second-SP and third-DT). In total, he scored 24 points at the meet as he was awarded the Oscar Strahan Award as the LSC's Most Outstanding Male Field Athlete. He qualified for the NCAA Outdoor National Championship in both shot put and discus and finished
18th in the country in both events. Weatherly was named USTFCCCA All-Region during both indoor (SP) and outdoor (SP & DT) competition
and was named LSC Field Athelte of the Week twice during 2014. He also set new indoor school records in shot put (17.45m) and weight throw (16.95m) and new outdoor school records in shot put (17.83m) and hammer throw (52.22m).
2013: Weatherly competed in shot put, discus, hammer and weight throw events during his freshman season with the Buffs. He totaled 25 top-five finishes including seven first-place showings. Won the individual shot put title in both the LSC Indoor and Outdoor Championships. His top marks included 16.80m (shot put), 51.54m (discus) and 49.58m (hammer).
High School: Graduated from Tascosa HS in Amarillo, Texas in 2012. Individual state champion in shot and disc. Lettered all four years in track. Personal best in disc was a 189'5", a school record, and a 57'7" in shot. Also a three-year letterwinner in football.
Personal: Son of Michelle Martinez and Curtis Weatherly. Has three siblings Wes, April and Zeth. Born Dec. 21, 1993. Majoring in sport and exercise science at West Texas A&M.
