2020 Outdoor: Canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. 

2020 Indoor: Named LSC Academic Runner of the Year. He was a part of the 4x400-meter relay that won the Lone Star Conference Championship running 3:12.80, qualifying the quartet for the National Championships. He also finished fifth in the 400-meters running a seasonal best 48.01 in the final. He broke the school record in the 600-yards at the Corky Classic running 1:11.06. Ran the 400m leg on the distance medley that ranked in the Top 20 in the nation with a time of 10:22.01. Ran a personal best time of 22.23 at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic. Earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors (4x400m relay).

2019 Outdoor: Earned All-American honors in the 400 meter hurdles after finishing fifth in the 400 meter hurdles running 52.18 in the final after running 52.29 in the prelims. Also ran a leg on the 4x400 meter relay that finishing 13^thin 3:18.04. Earned First Team All-Lone Star Conference honors after winning the 400m hurdles running a seasonal best time of 51.57 (10^thfastest time in program history). Ranked 22^ndin the nation in the 800 meter after running the eighth-fastest time in program history (1:51.40/1:51.03a) at the WT Classic & Multi. Ran a seasonal best time of 22.61 in the 200 meters at the ACU Olive Jackson Twilight where he also finished second in the 400m hurdles. 

2019 Indoor:Earned All-American honors as part of the 4x400-meter relay that finished seventh at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships running the second-fastest time in program history, 3:11.34. Ranked 25^thin the nation in the 400-meters after running 47.96 to finish third in the Lone Star Conference Championships. Ranked 31^stin the 800 meters after running 1:52.20 at the Boston University Last Chance Qualifier where he ran on the 4x400m relay that ran 3:11.78 to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Opened the season with a 27^thplace finish in the 400m at the Texas Tech Open running 49.64. 

Before WT: Danish 400-meter hurdles national record holder (50.02). Three-time 400-meter hurdles National Champion. Represented Denmark at the 2015 European U23 Championships in the 400m hurdles finishing third in the a national record time of 50.02.  Also competed at the European Championships in 2014 and 2016.
 
Personal: Son of Anne and Svend Hartling. Has five siblings. Plans on majoring in communications.
