th in the 10,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Championships running 33:45.06. Also finished 19
th in the 5,000-meters running 16:54.35 at the same meet. Ran a seasonal-best time of 15:38.72 in the 5,000-meters at the Texas Tech Open in his first race in almost a year.

2015 Outdoor: Finished sixth in the 10,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships running 34:25.27. Ran a seasonal-best time of 33:31.70 in the 10k at the Beach Invitational. Ran a seasonal-best time of 15:48.54 in the 5,000-meters at the Bobcat Invitational.
2015 Indoor: Finished fifth in the 5,000-meters at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships running 15:57.17. He also finished 14
th in the 3,000-meters running 9:26.22. Ran a personal best time of 15:18.38 in the 5k at the GVSU Big Meet Invite to finish eighth. Ran a seasonal best time of 8:59.01 the following day.
2014 Cross Country: Barnett opened up the season with a 13th place showing in the Texas Tech Open, running a season-best 25:02.4 in the 8K and scoring second for the Buffs to secure a third place team finish. Helped WT finish first in the division at the Cowboy Jamboree, finishing 23rd individually. Barnett placed 26th in the LSC Championship (8K) with a time of 27:26.6. Named to the LSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.Â
2014 Outdoor: After transferring in prior to the spring semester from Stephen F. Austin, Barnett competed during the track & field season and will begin in cross country starting in the fall of 2014. He scored for the Buffs in the 5000m at the LSC Indoor Championship with an eighth place finish before a sixth place showing in the 10,000m at the LSC Outdoor Championship. His PRs in 2014 included 4:34.35 (1500m), 4:35.80 (mile), 8:55.49 (3000m), 15:34.70 (5000m) and 32:26.26 (10,000m). During the outdoor season, he set a new outdoor school record in the 3000m with that time of 8:55.49 at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State.
Stephen F. Austin: Barnett competed his freshman season at Stephen F. Austin. His top times there were 32:02 (10K) and 15:31 (5K).Â
High School: Barnett graduated from Luling High School in 2012. He competed in cross country and ran the mile and two-mile events for the Eagles and helped lead his team to a 2A State Championship his senior season.
Personal: Born May 17, 1994. Son of Mike and Cyndi Barnett. Has one sibling, Kati. Majoring in Applied Sport at West Texas A&M.
