Senior (2015/16)

    Cross Country: Finished 160th at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships in Joplin, Mo. covering the 10,000 meter course in a time of 32:06.3. Placed 51st at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships (10k) at The Range in a time of 32:02.7. Earned All-Conference honors finishing fourth at the Lone Star Conference Championships (8k) in a time of 25:37.9. Ran a time of 25:51.1 on the 8,000 meter course at the Chile Pepper Festival where he placed 131st. Finished fourth at the Buffalo Stampede (8k) in a time of 26:08.2.

    Indoor: Earned All-American honors as part of the distance medley relay that finished second at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships running 9:49.24. The DMR team became the first WT relay/athlete to finish runner-up at the indoor national championships. Was part of the DMR that broke the school and Lone Star Conference record running 9:47.86 at the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash. Provisionally qualified in the mile running 4:09.09 at the Don Kirby Elite which ranks as the fifth-fastest time in school history. He is one of only three athletes to have broken 4:10 in the mile in school history. Finished second in the DMR and fifth in the mile at the LSC Championships.

    Outdoor: Became the first runner in WT history to run under 3:50 twice in the same season after running 3:49.26 at the Bryan Clay Invitational and 3:49.15 at the Portland Twilight. He finished the season ranked 34th in the nation in the 1,500. He finished fourth at the Lone Star Conference Championships in the 1,500 and fifth in the 5,000-meters running 15:21.08.

University of Birmingham: Ran personal-best times of 1:53.51(800m) and 3:49.41 (1500m) during his four-year career. Taylor-Caldwell was a 2014 British University Championships semi-finalist.

High School: Graduated from St. Paul’s School in London, England in 2010 where he competed in the 800m and 1500m events in track. He is the school record holder in the 1500m and as part of the 4x800m relay.

Personal: Son of Ian and Charlotte. Has one sister, Natasha. Taylor-Caldwell will be working on his Master of Business Administration at West Texas A&M.
