2020 Outdoor: Canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. 

2020 Indoor: Finished 12th in the long jump at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a mark of 21-20.25 (6.66m). Finished second in the long jump at The Power 5 with a seasonal best jump of 22-1 (6.73m). Jumped over 6.7 meters in five of six meets. 

Western Illinois: Cheeks finished ninth in the long jump at the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a mark of 6.93 meters (22-9). Had a personal best mark of 7.18 meters. (23-6.75) in the long jump at the Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invite. He finished 12thin the long jump at the Summit Indoor Championships. 
 
Evanston Township High School: Cheeks was an all-state, sectional and conference champion in the jumps during his high school career. Also lettered in basketball.
 
Personal: Born on February 12, 2000. Majoring in marketing.
