- Finished seventh in the decathlon at the LSC Outdoor Championship

2014: Dickson scored in three events at the LSC Indoor Championship to help the Buffs to their first conference title in program history. There, he placed third in the heptathlon, seventh in high jump and eighth in pole vault. He also set nine new PRs during the indoor season. Dickson went on to place eighth in the decathlon at the LSC Outdoor Championship.
2013: As a junior, Dickson placed third in the heptathlon in the LSC Indoor Championships, placing in the top-five in all individual events but one. Had 16 top-five finishes during the outdoor season where he helped lead the Buffs to a second-place finish in the LSC Outdoor Championships. Some of his top marks included 7.06 (55m), 1:33.24 (600m), 8.57 (55m hurdles), 16.26 (110m hurdles), 1.95m (high jump), 3.90m (pole vault), 6.11m (long jump), 9.63m (shot put), and 27.26m (discus).
2012: Dickson only competed during indoor in his sophomore season. His personal bests set that season include 7.50 (60m) and 1:21.30 (600y).
2011: Competed in the heptathlon and decathlon where he added 23 top-five finishes between individual events during his freshman season for indoor and outdoor competition. Placed seventh in the decathlon at the LSC Outdoor Championships where he had top-five finishes in the 400m, 1500m, high jump, 100m, javelin, and 110m hurdles. A few of his personal bests included 11.73 (100m), 53.03 (400m), 2:52.22 (1000m), 4:46.93 (1500m), 9.25 (60m hurdles) and 1.95m (high jump).
High School: Dickson attended Whitesboro High School where he ran for Coach Toby Sluder. Dickson competed in the High Jump, 300m hurdles, and the 110m hurdles. Dickson was state and regional qualifier his senior year in the high jump, and tied for first in the regional meet. Dustin was also a Regional qualifier in the high jump in his sophomore and junior seasons. He was also a member of the Bearcat Football, Basketball, and Tennis team.
Personal: Son of Rodney and Kimberly Dickson, Dustin has two younger siblings, Kortni and Delani. Dickson is a Engineering Major.
