2017 Outdoor: Finished seventh in the decathlon at the Lone Star Conference Championships with 5,821 points. He also competed in the high jump. Set a personal best score of 5,946 points in the decathlon at the West Texas A&M Invitational where he finished fourth overall. Set personal bests in the 100-meter dash (11.50), 1,500-meters (4:39.01), long jump (6.36 meters), discus (28.36 meters), javelin (33.28 meters) and pole vault (3.35 meters) during his junior season.
2017 Indoor: Finished 11
th in the high jump at the Lone Star Conference Championships with a seasonal best clearance of 1.85 meters (6-0.75). He ran a seasonal best time of 8.94 in the 60-meter hurdles at the ASU Early Grizzly Open. He was a member of the 4x400-meter relay that ran 3:30.31 at the UNM Cherry & Silver Invite.
2016 Outdoor: Finished eighth in the decathlon at the Lone Star Conference Championships with 5,834 points which is the 10
th best performance in school history. He set personal bests in three events during the championships including the 1,500, 110-meter hurdles and 400. Also finished ninth in the high jump at the same championships with a clearance of 1.87 meters. He finished third in the decathlon at the WT Classic & Multi with 5,796 points.
2016 Indoor: Finished fifth in the heptathlon at the LSC Indoor Championships with the fourth most points in school history, 4,390. Earlier in the year, he set the ASU High Altitude Training Center facility record in the high jump (multi event) during the Grizzly-Buffalo Clash with his clearance of 2.00 meters. That mark is the eighth best in school history. His 3,921 points during that same competition is the 10
th most in school history.
2015 Outdoor: Finished 11
th in the decathlon at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships with 5,346 points. Had his best performance in the decathlon at the West Texas A&M Classic & Multi where he finished first with 5,437 points.
2015 Indoor: Finished sixth in the heptathlon at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships with a personal-best performance of 3,921 points. He also finished seventh in the high jump with a clearance of 1.90m (6-2.75).
High School: Graduated from Del Rio High School in 2014. Named the Rams' Track Athlete of the Year in 2014. District Champion in high jump and 300hurdles. Area and regional qualifier in high jump and 300hurdles. Also competed in triple jump and the 4x4 relay. State qualifier (team) for cross country.
Personal: Born Sept. 14, 1995. Son of Shannon and Wayne Brown. Has one sibling, Lauren. Majoring in Animal Science at West Texas A&M.
