Biography

Career: Has played in 20 games while making five starts. Scored one goal, which was a game-winning goal, and has taken 11 shots with four shots-on-goal. Has a played a total of 636 minutes. 

2013: Appeared in four games and logged 68 minutes for the Buffs as a senior.

2012: Played in one match during his junior season against St. Mary’s. 

2011: Gellene saw time in 14 matches with four starts for the Buffs in 2011 during his sophomore campaign, scoring one goal for two total points. His first collegiate goal came on Oct. 23 against Fort Hays State in a win.

2010: Gellene saw limited time on the pitch for the Buffs as a true freshman in 2010, starting in just one match and seeing 79 minutes of action.

High School: Gellene graduated from Monterey (Texas) High School in 2010, playing defense for the Plainsmen.

Personal: Gellene is the son of Greg and Deborah Gellene and has two siblings, Greg and Matt. He is a Business major at West Texas A&M University.
