Hill College:  Saldana played as a midfielder under head coach Paul Davenport as he helped the Rebels to a regional championship and district semifinals his sophomore year… He was a two-time All-Conference and All-Region honoree… He was named to the All-Tournament Team his freshman and sophomore campaigns… 
 
Castleberry High School: Saldana was a four-year letterwinner in soccer, tennis and cross country… He played midfield under Lions head coach McKane Rodgers… He was named the teams MVP after leading the team to a 15-6-3 finish his senior season with 35 goals and 15 assists…  He was a two-time cross country regional qualifier as the Lions claimed back-to-back Class 4A District Championship titles…
