Biography

Career: Has played in 58 games and started 44 as a Buff. Has taken 26 shots, 10 shots were on-goal, and has scored one goal and tallied one assist. Has totaled 4,013 minutes. 

2013: Started all 16 games for the Buffs. Logged 1,410 minutes of action. Recorded one assist and six shots, three being on-goal. Was the senior leader on a back line that registered nine shutouts. Named NSCAA Second-Team All-Region and Daktronics Second-Team All-Region.

2012: Played in 17 games while making 16 starts. Took 10 shots with 2 on frame as a defender. Totaled 1343 minutes during his junior season. 

2011: Elder saw action in 11 matches with five starts as a sophomore in, taking four shots with two of them landing on goal.

2010: The true freshman saw time in 14 matches with seven starts for the Buffs during the 2010 season.

High School: Elder graduated from Central (Texas) High School in Fort Worth in 2010, playing defense and forward for the Chargers. Elder helped CHS to the Texas Class 5A playoffs during his senior campaign, being named a first team All-District selection.

Personal: Elder is the son of Rick and Stephanie Elder and has two siblings, Blake and Madison. He is majoring in General Business at West Texas A&M.
