High School: Graduated from The Colony High School in 2015, where he played in the central midfield for the Cougars. Scored six goals and dished out six assists his junior year and was named second team All-Conference. Earned AB Honor roll all four years.

Personal: Born on March 3, 1997. Son of Claudio Salazar and Ana Garcia. Has one brother, Erick. Majoring in engineering with a minor in business at West Texas A&M.
