Biography
2019-20 (Sophomore):
Jarvinen registered a scoring average of 74.45 during his sophomore campaign in Maroon & White during the pandemic shortened 2019-20 campaign, seeing time in all 20 rounds during the first seven tournaments of the season. The Finland product shot a season-best 68 in the second round of the LCU Chap Classic at The Rawls Course in Lubbock as he went on to finish tied for 8th, the 68 is tied for the fourth lowest round in program history. Jarvinen also excelled in the classroom as a member of the Lone Star Conference All-Academic Team.
2018-19 (Freshman):
The Helsinki, Finland product registered a standout true freshman campaign for the Buffaloes in 2018-19 as he finished the season with a scoring average of 74.31 during 26 rounds. Jarvinen set a new program record for lowest single-round on March 25th as the freshman fired a 6 (-5) during the opening round of the St. Edward's Invitational at the Onion Creek Golf Club in Austin to finish tied for 27th.
At Mäkelänrinne Lukio:
Jarvinen graduated from Mäkelänrinne Lukio in 2017. He was a National Team member during the 2017-18 campaign while also playing on the European Boys Team, he registered a second place finish at the U18 National Match-Play Championships while winning the Men's Club Trophy.

Born April 22, 1999. Son of Virpi and Tomi Jarvinen and he has one sibling, Teemu. Majoring in Marketing at West Texas A&M.
