2021-22:
Unger competed in 37 rounds during 13 tournaments for the Buffs during his sophomore campaign in 2021-22. He registered a season stroke average of 72.46 with par-or-better scores in 15 rounds including five rounds in the 60s, notching countable totals in 34 of his 37 competitive rounds. His best finish came at the Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma at Oak Tree Country Club with cards of 67, 76 and 71 for a 214 (-4) to finish third overall. Unger's best 36-hole score came during the Lone Star Conference Men's Golf Championships in Glen Rose as the sophomore fired a 204 (-12) to finish tied for fifth overall as the Buffs made a run to the Championship Medal Match Play. He was named an Honorable Mention All-Lone Star Conference honoree for his efforts on the course.

2020-21:
The Karlstad, Sweden product registered a scoring average of 74.96 during his freshman campaign, competing in 24 rounds during nine tournaments for the Buffs in 2020-21 with par-or-better scores in three rounds including two rounds in the 60s. His best performance came at the DBU Men's Classic at Wildhorse Golf Club in Denton as he carded rounds of 74, 75 and 70 for a 219 (+3) to finish tied for 22nd overall.

2019-20:
Unger, the Lone Star Conference Freshman of the Year, registered a season scoring average of 74.20 during his true freshman campaign at West Texas A&M as he saw time in all 20 rounds of seven tournament during the pandemic shortened season. The Swedish product fired a season-best 70 on three different occasions for the Buffs highlighted by an opening round two-under at the Golfweek Division II Fall Invitational at the Mission Inn Resort & Club in Orlando, Florida as the freshman finished tied for 6th.

Born January 20, 1999. Son of Anders and Monica Unger and he has two siblings, Caroline and Johanna. Majoring in Business Management at West Texas A&M.
