Idea Weslaco High School: Graduated in 2021. State qualifier in the 1,600 and 3,200-meters. Finished 2nd at the cross country state meet. Also qualified for state cross country as a junior. 
 
Personal: Born on July 29, 2003. Son of Otila and Tony Medrano. Has two siblings. Plans on majoring in nutritional sciences.
