Jacob Saulnier

Jacob Saulnier is entering his second year at West Texas A&M as an assistant Athletic Performance Coach. He is the Athletic Performance Coach for Men’s Basketball, Softball, and Men’s and Women’s Track & Field.

Saulnier comes to WT from Bowling Green State University where he was a Strength and Conditioning Coach. While at BGSU, Saulnier was the strength and conditioning coach for Women’s Soccer, Softball, and Men’s Golf while assisting with Football, Volleyball, and Baseball. Saulnier helped lead the Women’s Soccer program to their third consecutive Mid-American Conference Championship.

Prior to Bowling Green State University, Saulnier spent the 2019 football season as an intern strength and conditioning coach for the North Carolina State University football program. He began his strength and conditioning career as an intern strength and conditioning coach at the University of West Florida during the summer of 2018.

Saulnier graduated with his Master's degree in Physical Education/Human Performance from the University of West Florida and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Emmanuel College (GA) where he played first base for the Lions.

Saulnier is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certified Coach, Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED certified through the American Red Cross, and Mental Health First Aid.

Jacob and his wife Brittany were married in July 2022.
