Neill begins his fourth season at West Texas A&M and third as an assistant athletic trainer. He will serve as the trainer for men’s and women’s basketball in 2020-21.
During his time in Canyon, he has served as the athletic trainer for baseball, women’s soccer, men’s soccer, women’s basketball and cheer while assisting with football.
Prior to his move to the panhandle, he spent a year (2016-17) at Missouri Southern State where he provided primary medical coverage for women’s soccer and softball. He also assisted with a variety of other sports including football.
He was also an athletic training student at Southeastern Louisiana University from 2012-16 gaining experience in coverage of football, baseball, track & field, cross country and volleyball.
Neill graduated from Southeastern Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2016 followed by a Master of Science in sports Management from WT in 2019.
