Brandon Miller is in his second year at West Texas A&M, where he will serve as the Assistant Athletic Performance Coach for several sports.
Miller, originally from Freeburg, Illinois, is coming to Canyon from McKendree University where he was an Athletic Performance Assistant. While in Lebanon, he oversaw athletic performance training for the Men’s & Women’s Soccer and Baseball programs, and assisting with Football.
Prior to his time at McKendree, Miller worked with The University of Iowa Hawkeyes as an Athletic Performance Assistant with Olympic Sports, in Iowa City, Iowa. At Iowa, he oversaw athletic performance training for their Spirit Squad and directly assisted with Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Track & Field, Women’s Soccer, and Swim & Dive. Miller had a previous stop at Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville with their athletic performance staff, assisting with Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Volleyball.
Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in 2019, and Master of Physiology in 2020 from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville.
Miller is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (CSCS) through National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), possesses CPR/AED/First Aid certification through American Red Cross and is Mental Health First Aid certified.
