Biography

GENERAL – This young guard made a successful transition from the high school to the collegiate level of basketball.

2009-10 – While seeing action in 13 contests, Ashmore logged a season-high 14 minutes against Southeastern Oklahoma State, scoring eight points to go with a pair of rebounds and two steals. He also scored four points and grabbed two rebounds in 10 minutes against Oklahoma Panhandle State and saw a total of 13 minutes of action at Central Oklahoma.

High School – Ashmore averaged 28 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists his senior year at Spearman (Texas) HS and made the all-State team, as well as playing in the THSCA and TABC all-Star games. Under coach Junior Ashmore, Spearman went 27-5 in 2008-09, losing in the Regional Quarterfinals.

Personal – Ashmore is majoring in Sports & Exercise Sciences at WTAMU. He is the son of Cindy and Junior Ashmore of Spearman, Texas.
